The Process

Your initial consultation with the dentist is to ensure you are suitable for tooth whitening and to answer any questions you may have. Click on our FAQ webpage for more information.

The dentist will then check your teeth and a ‘before’ picture noting your tooth colour is taken.

The whitening gel will not affect crowns or white fillings.

Then you choose …

For a whiter smile in one hour … In-surgery Whitening

Firstly, your mouth and gums are protected with an isolation material. The teeth are then cleaned and dried and the whitening gel applied. After three, twenty-minute applications over a one-hour period your whitening is completed and an ‘after’ picture is taken.
Why not take along a favourite DVD or listen to some music while your treatment is taking place.

For a more gentle approach … At-home Whitening

An impression is taken from which a special application tray is made that will fit around your teeth.
The dentist will then make sure that the application tray fits comfortably and instruct you on how to apply the whitening gel.
Generally three weeks of at-home whitening is required.
On your return visit an ‘after’ picture is taken.
